With this course, you will understand the operational characteristics of all popular gas lift systems. You become expert in practical troubleshooting and diagnosis of gas lift well performance. To accommodate all field supervisors, the course is taught with a presumption of no higher educational background than high school. You learn field application and practical results. Actual field examples are analyzed and diagnosed by the group.
This seminar is a strong introductory course for engineers expected to plan and improve gas lift operations. This is one of our most popular courses for field supervisors and engineers

Outline Gas Lift Operation & Troubleshooting Training

1.    Introduction to Gas Lift Operations System and Analysis, Usage, gas availability, why it is used, what is the limitations etc.
2.    Gas Lift Type and Design Installations Characteristics, continuous or intermittent.
3.    Gas Live Valve mechanism, pilot valve, and normal commercial gas lift valves.
4.    Design of Gas Lift Installations, lay out and valve design
5.    Continuous Gas Lift Analysis and Operations. Optimizing Continuous Gas Lift Based on :
o    Maximum Pressure, Maximum Gas Rate Injection, Available Pressure, Available Gas Rate.
6.    Intermittent Gas Lift Design, Type of Installations, valve selection, optimization with time cycle controller and pressure analyses.
7.    Pager Lift Design and Analysis.
8.    Dual Gas Lift Installations merit and drawbacks.
9.    Compressor System, Classification, design calculation, selection, sizing.
10.    Start Up and Unloading Operations, Measurement, adjustment.
11.    Gas Lift Operations and Trouble Shooting including Charts, temperature and pressure survey.
